Encounter

Encounter is our Wednesday night Highschool (grades 9-12th) Bible study.  The goal of Encounter is to give the highschool students a place where they can come in to contact with Jesus.  We have a great time every week, usually we spend some time in worship singing praises to God and then we spend the rest of the time studying God's word, with a real focus on the life of Christ.  Some weeks we switch it up and have some sort of fun activity like a scavenger hunt or movie night.  We welcome all and would love to see you there.  We meet at 6:30 PM on Wednesday nights usually at the church building in the basement. 

Sunday nights at the Tuttle's house

Almost every Sunday night the Tuttle's invite the youth to their house to hang out.  Its a great time of fellowship and its a very relaxed and inviting time.  The purpose of this time is fellowship and to have a time to just get to know the youth.  All are youth are invited and it usually starts at 7 PM. 

Camp I-MO

Camp I-MO is our summer church camp and its a great place.  In the summers all ages go out there to study the bible sing praises to our God and have a blast.  The pool is always a popular part of the week.  Camp is something everyone should try its a great place to get away from all the distractions of your normal week and just spend time in communion with God and in community with his people.  Stay tuned for more details and when camp gets closer there will be flyers in the foyer of the church.

 God's Squad 

Is a group of our high school and jr high students that meet from January to May every Sunday night to practice and perform music and drama for different churches in Missouri and Iowa.  We practice up to March and then perform through March April and May.  This 38 year ministry is an encouragement to all who see it and we feel that the youth do an amazing job of proclaiming the word of God through music and drama.  If your interested in booking God's Squad please call the church at 660-947-2205 and let Nick know.   We are booked up for this year but its never to early to think about next year.

NYR

NYR is an amazing camp in Sedalia Colorado where every year thousands of youth come to worship God and to grow deeper in their faith.  Every year we take a group of 8th grade through college aged youth to camp and enjoy a great time of praise, worship and fellowship.  It is an amazing trip and is truely one of the high lights of our year.  Registration has already opened and the super early bird dead line is May 20th.  If you would like more information please call the church at 660-947-2205 or look up NYR on the web at http://www.nyr.org and you can click here for the registration form and the info packet.
